This class is part of a course series teaching The Book of the Great Queen. Class sessions take one chapter at a time and review, clarify, and distill the material from the chapter, with additional contextual material from Irish and Celtic studies, as well as updates to scholarship where new information has become available since publication.
The Book of the Great Queen was the culmination of nearly 20 years of my own study and practice as a dedicant of the Morrígan. In it, I strive to provide a comprehensive and in-depth look at the Morrígan as we know her through textual, historical, and archaeological sources, her role and cult of worship in ancient Celtic religion, and to provide guidance for the modern devotional practitioner drawing on these traditions.
